Despite giving Toni Braxton, the proprietor of the original composition, a 60 percent ownership share of the rights to his song, Nigerian superstar Burna Boy is earning more money from his song “Last Last.”
“I’ve actually made more money from that song than any other song in my whole career. And it’s even a short time. I only dropped it about a month or two ago,” he disclosed in an interview with Kick Game UK.
Burna Boy’s 19-track “Love, Damini” album contains the song “Last Last,” which is the seventh track overall.
Chopstix, who produced the song, used a sample from Toni Braxton’s timeless 2000 single “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”
Burna Boy clarifies the 60% deal with Toni Braxton on his ‘Last Last’ record contrary to what many believed.
He even goes further to say he’s made more money off the song than any other song he’s made.
