London-based Ghanaian lyricist and songwriter Akwasi Opoku, known as Kwaisey Pee, boldly stated that the authenticity of his music can span over 100 years.
He indicated that his music is made for people who enjoy music and appreciate its authenticity.
Speaking in an interview on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show with host Rev Erskine, he described the essence of his music as good for all who appreciate good music . “I make music for people that really love good music and cherish good music.”
Kwaisey Pee highlighted the enduring quality of his work and noted that it could be listened to for centuries. “Good music is music that you know can be there for centuries, timeless, evergreen; so people that appreciate that kind of music, those are the kind of people I do music for.” he explained.
