Four-time NSMQ champions, Prempeh college has succeeded in winning the 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz competition.
The team after an intriguing and keenly contested quiz final with 6-time champions Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, Legon, and Keta Senior High and Technical School amassed a total of 53 points to be crowned champions.
Prempeh College was trailing at the end of the first round with 17 points behind PRESEC, they were still behind after rounds 2 and 3 of the contest with 21 and 31 points respectively. Team Prempeh regained consciousness and led PRESEC, Legon, and Keta SHTS with 47 points.
Prempeh College managed to beat rivals Opoku Ware Senior High School, KNUST SHS, Anglican SHS, and Sogakope SHS to book their seat at the finals of the competition.
