Professor Extraordinaire and Author of the world’s first all-inclusive Supply Chain Management Compendium, also Board Chairperson of the Public Procurement Authority, Professor Douglas Boateng has advised the youth to pay more attention to mentorship programs as it plays a huge role in grooming them for their future.

Shedding more light on what he thinks the youth should be on the lookout for he shared that they should consider paying more attention to mentoring amongst themselves especially because it helps in changing the mindset.

He told Rev Erskine on Y 107.9 FM’s Y Leaderboard Series, “Mindset is a big problem among the youth and if we can change their mindset through mentoring that will be very good”.

Prof believes that if the youth change their negative mindset and channel it into positives only then making impacts in society will be easy for them to achieve.

His advice to them was, “Stop being too pessimistic about our beloved Ghana because the best is ahead of us. Think positively and also participate in events like the MYO. It was set up for the youth, let’s all work together to build the Ghana we all desire”.
