The controversy emerged shortly after Shatta Wale and Sarkodie made a surprise appearance at Kweku Smoke’s concert at Electric Brixton in the United Kingdom, a moment that was widely celebrated by music fans.
Following the performance, Stonebwoy posted on X, saying, “These 2 guys have been faking to each other based on interests and timing convenient friendship. Even the devil hates that.” The post quickly gained traction, with many users speculating that it was directed at Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.
However, Sarkodie has since sought to calm the conversation. In a conversation with renowned creative Adesope, the award-winning rapper urged netizens to refrain from making assumptions, stressing that the message may not necessarily be about him and Shatta Wale.
