Nigerian singer and songwriter, Reekado Banks has disclosed how he manages setbacks in his musical career.
Speaking to Jonny Stone on Y107.9FM’s Weekend Rush show, he said, “I’ve come to understand that setbacks are part of the journey. It’s part of it. It’s like when success comes how do you feel when set backs comes, how do you feel? So, for me I don’t let it get to me I just keep working”.
He explained that being in the music industry for a while now has taught him to be very tough and open minded.
“You have to be able to embrace people’s sounds and be resilient. You should not let people’s words get to you. You must always have a direction too,” he added.
Reekado Banks is out with a new song titled ‘Feel Different’ featuring Adekunle Gold and Maleek Berry which he urges all fans to keep streaming as they wait for him to release his album in September.
