Fitness coach, Sista Abena, and her team have announced their upcoming event dubbed “Fitness With Vibes” on 6th June 2026.
Speaking with Brown Berry on Y107.9 FM’s Ryse N Shyne on Friday 5th June, the Fitness instructor stated that the whole idea behind the event is to merge fitness with vibes, entertainment to make health simple and enjoyable for all.
“People don’t like to train, they love party. So we decided to partner with Exhale Lounge and merge fitness with party,” Sister Abena said.
She explained that “Fitness With Vibes” is free and open to everyone because the goal is to make health simple and enjoyable. “It’s free, it’s open to everyone. Come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s move together,” she added.
According to her, the event is built for all fitness levels since many people avoid workouts due to pressure. “No pressure, no judgment. We’re just trying to make health fun,” she said. “If we put vibes with movement, people will come, and once they come, the habit will start.” She believes using music and entertainment will help Ghanaians stick to healthy habits.
The program for “Fitness With Vibes” will start with a nutrition talk by a professional nutritionist, followed by a full-body warmup led by Fitness trainers, then we have different coaches having their fitness sets with the audience. After that, DJs will take over the space. “ Music will play a major role in this fitness party, multiple DJs will be on board too,” Sister Abena said. “We’re merging fitness with vibes entertainment. You’ll sweat, but you won’t even notice because the music will be moving you.” She added that prominent faces from health and entertainment will be present.
She also confirmed there will be more than just exercise at the event. “There will be food, products from Samsung, and a lot more going to be about health and fun,” she noted. “It’s not just a workout. It’s a whole experience – health, products, entertainment, everything in one space.” For Sister Abena, the message is clear. “Fitness shouldn’t feel like punishment. It should feel like a lifestyle you enjoy,” she said. “If we can make people dance their way to health, then we’ve won.”
