The father of well-known Ghanaian rapper Teephlow, Muhammed Baidoo, a retired educator, is said to have died.
Teephlow made the declaration in the early hours of January 22, 2023, that his dad passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana after a brief illness.
In his post on Facebook, Teephlow wrote, “Death is wicked, Rest well Dada” alongside a picture of his father.
His brother and manager, Ibrahim Baidoo, gave some information about this tragic occurrence.
Even though their father had been unwell, he said that his passing nevertheless came as a surprise.
Ibrahim Baidoo also complimented the rapper’s supporters for showing up in large numbers to send their good wishes to him and his family during this trying time. He described their father as a remarkable guy who helped humanity as an educator and a religious leader. He also described him as a proud father who always encouraged Teephlow’s musical endeavours.
With numerous accolades to his credit, including the VGMA Record of The Year, the quantity surveyor-turned-rapper Teephlow has established a reputation for himself in the Ghanaian music scene.
Currently, Teephlow resides in the US with his mother and other family members.
