Founder and Leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako has pledged that Ghana will print its own currency if he is elected President in the December 7, 2024 elections.
During the launch of his manifesto Nana Kwame Bediako questioned why Ghana continues to rely on countries like England, Belarus, and Switzerland to print its currency.
He argued that it is unnecessary for Ghana to depend on other nations to produce its money when the country has the industrial capacity to do so itself.
He emphasized that with all the resources Ghana possesses, it is time to reconsider the need to purchase money from abroad, transporting it from countries like England or Switzerland before it becomes usable in Ghana.
He questioned why Ghana, with its growing industrial power, should continue to depend on foreign nations for its currency production.
