The Reason Neymar And PSG Players Mocked Erling Haaland

Neymar and his PSG teammates ‘trolled’ Erling Haaland several times on Wednesday night by doing the Borussia Dortmund’s goal celebration pose on several occasions.
The Brazilian started the trend by celebrating his goal, which put PSG ahead on away goals, by putting his fingers together akin to Haaland’s meditation pose.
After the match all the PSG players sat crossed legged and did the Norwegian’s zen like position on the pitch in celebration of their win and then carried on doing it in the dressing room after, whilst Neymar also posted on Instagram.
Whilst it looked like bullying of a 19-year-old the reason was because the PSG players were responding to the Borussia Dortmund striker’s Snapchat post which was captioned ‘Paris is my city,’ with Neymar responding in kind saying ‘Your city in in Norway bro go back. My city, not yours.’

Dortmund led 2-1 on aggregate going into the second leg, behind closed doors in Paris, thanks to Haaland’s brace in the first leg and Neymar’s away goal.
The Brazilian put the home side ahead in the tie thanks to his 28th minute goal and Juan Bernat doubled their lead on the night in injury time in the first half.
The win took the Ligue 1 champions through to the Champions League for the first time in four years after being knocked out in the last 16 for three years in a row.

Fans weren’t allowed inside the Parc des Princes on Wednesday, due to fears over the spread of Coronavirus, but PSG supporters gathered outside the ground instead.
They set off flares and fireworks during the game and celebrated wildly at full time, as their players spent the time mocking a teenager.
