Ghanaian actor and comedian Prince Yawson, popularly known as “Waakye,” has been reported dead after battling mild stroke in 2020.
Waakye appeared in a number of well-known films, including “Diabolo,” “Chorkor Trotro,” and “Babina.”
The formerly well-known actor earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from My Life Theology University in Accra in December 2020.
After becoming very unwell, Waakye took a hiatus from performing. At his Bible school graduation, he said in interviews that he wasn’t surprised about the next stage of his life because many men of God had prophesied about it.
