Ghanaian comedian and skit maker Dr. Likee has expressed heartfelt appreciation to fans, supporters and industry players following the successful staging of Dr. Likee Live at O2 Indigo.
Speaking in a viral video after the event, the comedian revealed that massive investment and sacrifice went into making the show a reality.
According to team member Papa Kumasi, Dr. Likee even sold his personal car to help finance the production a revelation that has since generated admiration across social media.
The sold-out event has widely been described as a major milestone for Ghana’s comedy and live entertainment industry, especially considering the scale and turnout recorded at the iconic O2 Indigo venue.
While the auditorium has hosted several Ghanaian musicians over the years, Dr. Likee is being celebrated as the first Ghanaian comedian to successfully stage a large-scale concert party theatre production at the venue with such an impressive turnout.
