Ghanaian musicians, Wendy Shay and Strongman Burner have disclosed to fans how they like their favorite high school delicacy, gari soakings prepared.
In anticipation for the gari party being organized by Happy 98.9FM’s all new and refreshing Happy Morning Show on Friday, 24th January, 2020, the two were asked how they like their gari soakings made.
Replying on Happy FM’s Ayekoo Drive hosted by DJ Advicer, Wendy Shay revealed that she preferred her soakings with milk, sugar and groundnut. Her answer made Strongman scream in praise.
“This is how rich people prepare their gari soakings. The cost involved alone can buy gari and beans,” he said jokingly.
Describing how he prepared his, the rap god revealed that, adding sugar, water and some groundnuts to his gari made it complete. “But if I had milk powder, I’ll just take a little and save the rest for another day.”
Ghana’s favourite radio station Happy 98.9FM is organizing a gari party on Friday, February 24, 2019, to celebrate the high school delicacy and remind Ghanaians how much it has saved us on numerous occassions.
