The impact of an artiste is not only felt in the content they produce but as a result of the shows they end up being billed to perform at. Wendy Shay has been on the grounds working and on 28th of June, the entertainer was tasked to give the best of her crafts to patrons at two separate events.
Her night began at the Music Magic and Comedy organized by Global Media Alliance took place at the Accra International Conference Centre. High anticipation it was for fans as they were expecting the best of the female act signed to RuffTown Records.
Her time to come on stage was opened by an entry scene with her backup dancers who lined up to ginger fans on what was to be expected. From the get go, it was back to back delivery of the hit songs that she is known for. Shay On You, Astalavista, BedRoom Commando, Uber Driver and many others she performed to the cheering of the anxious crowd in the auditorium. She ended her craft with Masakra and a standing ovation was the end result from the cheering crowd.
The RuffTown Records team moved to Apedwa which is in the Eastern Region for the Apedwa Ohum Festival. It was a surprise performance and no one had prior information of the Queen’s arrival.
With the mention of her name that she was about to hit stage, it was murmuring all over that she wasn’t really there. Her appearance on stage was a shock to all and sundry at the community.

The HitMaker gave them the chance to choose the songs to be performed for the night and it was almost all the songs in her catalogue. A night with Wendy Shay is just worth it every moment. You need to be at the next event she performs at.
