DJ Suraka has been nominated for three categories in the 2021 edition of the Western DJ Awards.
The Official Disc Jockey of “Shouts On Y” on Y 97.9 FM was nominated for the ‘Male Radio DJ of the year’, ‘Raggae/Dancehall DJ of the year, and ‘Ultimate DJ of the year’ categories.
In an appreciation post on his social media handle. The talented Head of Disc Jockeys at Y 97.9 FM entreated his listeners and fans to vote for him to win all three awards.
“It is here, Do well to vote for me, let’s win all three categories for the Big Y”. The post read.
The programs manager at YFM Takoradi Agyekum Gyimah expressed his joy over DJ Suraka’s nomination and encouraged all YFM Takoradi listeners to vote for him.
“I am happy for DJ Suraka’s nomination, I can’t hide it, all listeners of YFM Takoradi have to vote for him.” He said.
The Western DJ awards is an award scheme that seeks to recognize Disc Jokers in the Western Region of Ghana.
