Ghana’s leading urban radio brand, YFM has once again proven its dominance and royalty status in the country’s music scene but receiving an impressive number of nominations in the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
With 23 nominations across various categories, DJs and hypemen across the golden YFM Triangle made up of Y107.9FM-Accra, Y102.5FM-Kumasi and Y97.9FM-Takoradi are dominating the music scene in Ghana.
Director of Broadcasting at Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company (GMABC), Timothy Karikari PhD expressed profound joy at the feat achieved by the team.
“These nominations come as a surprise to me. Yes, we all know YFM has the best of DJ’s, Hypemen and talent when it comes to urban radio programming in Ghana, and these nominations go a long way to undoubtedly prove this point. A big shout out to our DJs, MCs and talents for making this achievement possible. I say congratulations to our nominees and bring the awards home,” he stated.
The Ghana DJ Awards 2024 will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 7 PM at the Palms Convention Centre.
The event will mark 13 years of celebrating exceptional DJ entertainment in Ghana.
