Leading name in the urban and youth music arena in Ghana, YFM is set to storm Tarkwa with the 2024 edition of Y Invasion.
Y Invasion is a musical jam with YFM’s globally acclaimed DJs, renowned hypemen and a line up of Ghana’s most sought-after artistes, treating residents in and around a chosen location with the best of music and quality entertainment.
Y invasion is happening live with non-stop music on Saturday 2nd November, 2024 at Captains Catfish Point & Grill in Tarkwa at 6pm prompt.
Director of Broadcasting at Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company (GMABC), Timothy Karikari urged residents and patrons to look forward to 24 hours of unadulterated fun with the YFM squad.
“The sole aim of Y Invasion is to get closer to our fan base. In that regard, we are bringing out all our show stoppers, I mean the DJs, presenters, hypemen and all the teams you love to hear on radio. Yes, you cannot afford to miss this,” he added.
With the community being at the center of Y Invasion, local and underground artistes and hypemen will also be given the opportunity to share the stage with the big guns, and receive some mentorship from them.
The Tarkwa Y Invasion will also see representatives from the Marie Stopes Ghana who will introduce their special telemedicine services to women, which goes a long way to eliminate geographic barriers to receiving quality healthcare.
