YFM Takoradi 'Slip N Slide' Pool Party Wows Patrons

Y 97.9 FM, Ghana’s number one urban station, hosted the biggest pool party dubbed ‘Slip N Slide’ Pool Party on April 21, Easter Sunday at West Star Hotel at Anaji in the Western Region.
The ‘Slip N Slide’ Pool Party was a star dubbed event with a tall list of Ghanaian artistes who thrilled patrons. Some of the artistes who rocked the stage included Quamina MP, Demzi, Casta Troy and Ayma among others.
Speaking about the ‘Slip N Slide’ Pool Party, Y97.9FM Programmes Manager, Agyekum Gyimah, popularly known as ‘Citi Buzzer’ said the ‘Slip N Slide’ event attracted party lovers who had fun with the YFM Takoradi team and celebrities.
“The exciting part of this event was that, patrons who purchased tickets were given the chance to enter into the auditions part of the upcoming ‘Live Inside and Win the Ride’ reality show.
Also the Renault Duster SUV, ultimate prize for the ‘Live Inside and Win the Ride’ competition, was available for all patrons of the party to see it for themselves and a lucky patron won an Equator Phone after signing up for Live Inside and Win the Ride,” Mr. Gyimah stated.
“We are hopeful that a resident of Takoradi will win this years Edition of Live Inside and Win the Ride and considering the excitement of our listeners at ‘Slip and Slide’ pool party I’m very sure that Takoradi will be well represented.” he added.
The concept of Live Inside and Win the Ride competition by GMA Group, owners of YFM, Happy FM and e. TV Ghana, is to bring together five individuals from different backgrounds across the country to endure sitting together in a Renault Duster SUV. During that period, contestants are evicted till there is one person left. The ‘last man standing’ wins the car.
