Ghana’s favourite urban radio brand, YFM is set to thrill its audience with a cross-regional radio experience with the Y Switch on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, a day slated to celebrate the country’s founding fathers.

The Y Switch will see a rotation amongst hosts of the brand’s shows across the Y-Triangle, (Y107.9FM-Accra, Y102.5FM-Kumasi & Y97.9FM-Takoradi) to share the triangular experience with the audience.

With the Y Switch, hosts from the Morning Show right through to the Dryve Time Show will leave their home regions. Presenters from Y107.9FM-Accra will move to Y97.9FM-Takoradi, whilst those at Y97.9FM-Takoradi will thrill the listeners of Y102.5FM-Kumasi with the Taadi vibe. The Kumericans from Y102.5FM will raise high their flag in the capital as they display their unique style on Y107.9FM-Accra.

Sharing reasons behind the switch, he noted that the team wanted to engage and entertain listeners “this holiday and came up with the brilliant idea to take our finest presenters around the country.”

He urged the whole of Ghana to tune in to stations in the Y-Triangle and stand the chance of winning amazing prizes for the holiday.

The Y-Switch was made possible with support from Vienna City-Kumasi, Mellow Farms, Airport West Hotel, Sunseekers Tour and Takoradi’s finest, the OKT Hotel.
