Ghana’s annual Easter mass jam, the Ankaase Lakeside Party hosted by YFM is scheduled for Monday, 10th April.
The Easter party which comes off at the iconic Ankaase Lake introduces holiday makers to the unexplored side of Lake Bosomtwe.
YFM is partnering chiefs and people of Ankaase in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region for this year’s edition for a mega Easter Party to promote tourism.
Organizers are confident this year’s event will attract a bigger audience than what was considered the biggest crowd in history 15 years ago.
The event currently in its 13th edition and has been running for 15 years years, hence organizers have named this year’s edition as a comeback edition with hopes of hosting the most exciting episode than what was experienced few years ago.
Organizers say the initiative will put Ankaase on the world map of economic opportunity, as they look forward to reaping the benefits of tourism in and around Ankaase.
This was reiterated by Team Lead Mr. Adu Gyamfi in an exclusive interview with Becky on Y109.8 FM Kumasi where he mentioned how far they have come as the event was accepted as a household name to promote tourism in the country.
It can be recalled that in 2018, Y 102.5 FM Kumasi had a fun filled lakeside party experience with its maiden edition of the ‘Lakeside Concert’ took place at Ankaase.
