Y97.9FM Takoradi’s very own DJ Gunshot, known off-air as Eric Amegashie, has been nominated for ‘Best DJ, Western Region’ in the 13th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, set to take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Centre.
The nomination recognizes DJ Gunshot’s exceptional contribution to Ghana’s entertainment scene and his consistent display of mastery behind the turntables.
DJ Gunshot has carved a distinctive niche in the Ghanaian music space with his high-energy sets, creative mixtapes such as Party Vybz, and electrifying performances at major events across the country. His remarkable win at the Y Clash of the DJs competition further solidified his reputation as one of YFM’s top talents and a force in the Western Region’s music landscape.
