Official DJ for Y97.9FM’s flagship drive-time show ‘Dryve of Ur Lyfe’, DJ Shyno has been crowned Best DJ – Western Region at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
His victory has sparked immense excitement among listeners, colleagues, and industry stakeholders who have long acknowledged his talent and exceptional command of the turntables.
DJ Shyno, known for his electrifying mixes and unmatched ability to keep audiences engaged both on-air and at major events across the region, has steadily built his brand as one of Western Ghana’s finest DJs. His recognition at the prestigious national awards adds yet another milestone to his growing career.
Speaking on the honour, DJ Shyno expressed deep gratitude to his supporters and the YFM Takoradi team.
“Winning Best DJ in the Western Region is a huge motivation for me. It means a lot to know that the hard work, late nights, and energy I put into my craft are seen and appreciated. I want to thank my YFM family and every listener who keeps supporting me, this win is for all of us,” he said.
