Weekend 2 of the Coachella delivered another packed chapter of music, culture, and global entertainment at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California with standout performances across pop, rock, electronic, and international sounds.
Thousands of festivalgoers filled the grounds over the weekend, navigating high temperatures, heavy foot traffic, and continuous stage rotations as artistes such as Justin Bieber as the headline pop performance, The Strokes delivering a major rock set to a large main stage crowd, Labrinth took the fans into an all round experience with vocals and abstract visuals, Bad Bunny as the Latin global headliner bringing stadium-level energy and BLACKPINK as K-pop headline performance took over multiple performance spaces with massive turnouts.
A major highlight of the festival’s second part which took place on Saturday, April 18 to April 29, 2026 came from Davido, who returned for Weekend 2 with a high-energy performance that reaffirmed Afrobeats’ growing global dominance.
Performing to a packed crowd, Davido delivered a fast-paced set filled with fan favourites and global hits on the Gobi Stage, drawing strong sing-alongs and widespread audience engagement.
His appearance once again positioned Afrobeats firmly within Coachella’s main cultural conversation, not as a side genre but as a headline-level force.
The event organizers in engagements with Channel 3, Carlifornia noted that festival operations remained tightly coordinated. Security teams, medical units, and city officials maintained a visible presence throughout the weekend to manage crowd movement, heat conditions, and logistics across the festival grounds.
