Ghanaian singer and songwriter Francisca Gawugah, popularly known as Sista Afia has emphatically stated that she has not undergone medical operation to enhance body.
Explaining to Rahm Beisa on Y 97.9FM’s ‘ShoutsOnY’ on rumors about she going under the knife, she said, “There are two types of procedures when it comes to enhancing the body. We have the non surgical procedures and the surgical procedures and mine was the non surgical procedure.”
According to her, she only worked on her stomach area and waistline, and was not operated on as rumors suggest.
“It’s a machine that does it. You don’t have to be in an operation room to get that done so, I haven’t gone under the knife mine is just fat freezing,” she asserted.
She furthered that this process is very common today and a lot of young ladies are doing it because it is more safer than surgical procedure.
“With this, you can still be on your phone while it’s being done. The only thing is this one takes time and it fluctuates too. Even as we speak, my stomach is coming out again and this is why some do the other procedures,” she noted.
She also disclosed that even as a nurse, she is scared of needles, another reason why she didn’t opt for the procedure.
