Rihanna, the global singer and business mogul has given birth to not only her third baby, but her first daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers. Rihanna posted photos of her bundle of joy on her official Instagram account on Wednesday.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, a rapper and entrepreneur who is her long-term partner, are raising their sons RZA, born 2022, and Riot, born 2023, together.
Rihanna has merged her fashion choices with her pregnancy reveals in the past, and maintained this tradition when she unveiled her bump at the MET Gala in May. Rihanna has wanted to have kids for a very long time, revealing to British Vogue in 2020 that her 10-year life plan included her having children.
“I’ll have kids – three or four of ‘em,” she explained. “The only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
Rihanna, 37, and A$AP Rocky, 36, were longtime friends before publicly announcing their romance in 2021. In an interview with GQ, Rocky called Rihanna, “the love of my life,” and exclaimed that fatherhood was “in my destiny, absolutely.
Just recently in April, Rocky reaffirmed his love for Rihanna, stating that it was, “internal, external, infinite, the past, future.”
