Ghana’s finest Hypeman, Kojo Manuel together with the wildest DJ Loft, both of the no.1 urban radio in the country, Y107.9 FM, have both been selected to thrill patrons at the forthcoming 2022 edition of Afrochella.
After the Culture Management Group, organizers of the popular Afrochella festival announced Burna Boy and Stonebwoy as headliners for the 2022 edition, a full list of performers including ‘Hosts’ and DJs followed.
Host of the #DryeofYourLyfe on Y107.9 FM-Accra and the infamous “Are you Mad” go getter, Kojo Manuel joins a list of astute Hypemen and MCs to host fans at the two-day ticketed event in December.
Known for his wild selections on Y107.9 FM-Accra’s morning show #RyseNShyne and Cup and Bass mixtapes, DJ Loft earns a place to shut down the Afrochella 2022.
The festival’s theme this year dubbed “AfroFuturism,” a phrase coined to honour the African diaspora’s past and present, while also offering a positive vision of the next generation’s future.
The festival is expected to be hosted at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra, Ghana from December 28 to December 29 and promises to be worthwhile. The hottest artistes across the continent set to storm the stage. Afrobeat superstars; Fireboy, Kidi, Ayra Starr, Medikal, DJ Juls, and others will perform at the two-day music festival.
