The ever articulate Chelsy Sey of Y97.9 FM has grabbed two nominations in the upcoming Western Radio and TV Personality (WRTP) Awards 2020 in the categories of Best Female Presenter and Morning Show Host of the Year.
On 21st November, 2020, Chelsy Sey will be competing with the likes of Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM Takoradi, Sir Rich of Royal FM Asanko, Nana Aba Boakye Ansah of Obuor FM Asanko, among others to emerge winner in the category of the Morning Show Host of the Year category.
In the category of Best Female Presenter of the Year, YFM’s Chelsy Sey will be in the contest against Waibe of Owass FM in Tarkwa, Super Soul Sister of Apollo FM , Ekua Bawuah of Rivers FM, among others for the award of Best Female Presenter of the Year.
As the host of the ‘Ryse N Shyne’ show on YFM, Chelsy has served listeners with a great deal of excitement, motivation and interactive content. Her great interviews with entertainment heavy weights are incomparably superior to other interviews as she milks inspiring stories from great entertainers for the youths in the West. From the ‘Headline News’, ‘Bizarre News’ and ‘Rant’ segments of the show, Chelsy always sets an energetic mood for the morning as she provides refreshing content for the morning.

The prestigious Western Radio and Television Personality Awards (WRTP) is an awards event organized by Ex One entertainment to honour excellence in the media industry. The first WRTP award was held at the TTU auditorium on the 14th December 2019.
