Naa Dzama Sowah, The Voice Goddess, host of Y107.9FM’s Shouts on Y Radio Show, will embark on a donation exercise to gift some essentials to young cancer warriors at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital’s Pediatric Oncology Unit.
Madam Naa Dzama believes strongly that a little act of love and kindness can go a long way to save a life. That is why after over a decade of charity works, she decided to structure things properly and set up her charity foundation ‘Purple Angels Foundation’ which was initiated 2 years ago.
With her foundation, Naa Dzama has helped needy and sick children, babies born to mothers in prison among others.
In 2020, the ‘Purple Angels Foundation’ visited the KATH pediatric oncology unit to offer support to the young ones battling cancer and this year the plan for Mother’s Day is to visit another one of the few hospitals with a pediatric oncology unit in Ghana, the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
“It has always been my passion to help people, especially children because I believe that love and kindness can make this world a better place. On Sunday, the 8th of May, 2022 which happens to be Mother’s Day, the Purple Angels Foundation will be visiting the pediatric oncology unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital to gift the young warriors some essential and recreational items to help make their stay at the hospital a bit more comfortable”, Naa Dzama said.
She also urged persons interested in supporting the #2GhForCancer cause to send in their donations no matter how little through the foundation’s account number:
