Contestants from the Keta Senior High Technical School (Keta SHTS) have expressed their gratitude to old students of the school for their support prior to the National Science and Maths quiz.
The group shared that their success in the competition will not have been possible without the sacrifices of the old students who trained them for the competition.
Francisca Lamini, speaking to Naa Dzama on Y102.5FM, revealed: “Our teachers have been very much instrumental to our success. We are very much grateful also to our old students as they really helped us. We appreciate the time they spent with us and all the sacrifices they made for us. May God richly bless them. We are grateful to them.”
Bright Senyo ,on his part noted that it is an amazing feeling to have qualified for the finals the very first time in the history of their school. However, this success would not have been possible if the coordinator, Isaac Watson, his assistant and the old students of the school did not support them.
Ketasco made history when they qualified for the finals of the NSMQ. The school represented by Francisca Lamini, Bright Senyo Gadzo and James Lutterodt battled against six times champions Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC) and Prempeh College.
The school is also the first SHS in the Volta Region to have qualified to the finals of the NSMQ competition.
