Renowned member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has added his voice to the clarion call for the President Akufo-Addo to reshuffle his government.
He called on the President to examine issues which have necessitated calls, urging him to weigh them against the nation’s interests.
Speaking on the ‘Kessben Maakye Show’, Mr. Agyepong acknowledged the president’s over 40 years political experience, but advised the raging economic indicators are strong pointers for the need to take an immediate and tough decision on the subject.
Mr. Agyepong asserted the current inflation rate of 32% and the drop of Ghana’s economic securities from 40% to a paltry 11% is seriously frustrating private sector business, and a dangerous signal for Ghana’s economic survival. Hence, a strong wake up call for the President to sanitize his economic management team.
Noting the government has done phenomenally well in other sectors, Mr. Agyepong made a strong call for the President to act swiftly and decisively, reminding him of his tough journey of ascent.
