Ghanaian musician best known for his hit song ‘Ekorso’, Kofi Jamar says his music is inspired by giving the streets music to feed on.
With different things happening in the streets to a varied degree of persons on a regular, the artiste posits such persons should be motivated.
“It is always my desire to feed the streets. Although we sometimes take a break to deal with our own stuff, we come back to feed the streets with something new and that’s my motivation,” he told Winston Micheals in an interview on Y107.9FM’s ‘Shouts On Y’ show.
Reacting to the impact of his song on listeners, the thought provoking lyricist indicated his music has been reaching fans at a certain point of their lives when they need it the most.
He described his music as the new gospel shedding light on the path of global citizens.
Kofi Jamar is out with a new single, ‘Plan B’. The new street anthem seeks to encourage the youth not to give up on their dreams. It points out the fact that if one door closes, another opens for them to keep pursuing their dreams and aspirations.
