Ghanaian Reggae musician Gibrille Adedayo Hassan Mansaray known to showbiz as Gibrilville has advised music industry players particularly recording artistes to be cautious of songs they decide to perform with live band style of music.
In an interview on Y107.9FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe with host Kojo Manuel, Ville made mention of his free debut concert ‘Gibrille the African’ which would be hosted under a live band theme. However not all songs of his would be performed with the said style.
The ‘Kilodey’ hitmaker hinted that, “There are certain songs that are moved by the instruments and base line; if those instrument sounds cannot be replicated by the live band it will mess the song up,” and further noted that artistes must be aware of the songs that are compatible with the live band style of music and songs that are not.
