Fast rising Ghanaian singer and songwriter, THE ART, has touted his latest single, “Minshɛɛ” as a daily reminder of his sole responsibility to work his way to the top in the industry.
In an interview on Y107.9 FM’s YLounge with host, Akosua Hanson, the young musician noted that he has witnessed numerous disappointments and failed promises which had the potential of ending his career.
However, THE ART highlighted that all the let-downs he experienced have birthed a rather optimistic mindset and approach to life. “In spite of the betrayals and everything that was supposed to slow me down, I still need to focus; I can’t focus on those betrayals I needed to rewire my mind.”
He emphasized on the lone-nature of his career and expressed how ready he is to single handedly invest into his career for success. “One thing I have learnt is that I am responsible for my own progress in my career; that’s the bottom line of Minshɛɛ; I am responsible for my own happiness. If you depend on other people to do this for you they will disappoint you.”
The title, Minshɛɛ which translates from Ga to English as ‘Joy’ or contentment. Minshɛɛ released on December 7, 2023 is an anthem of resilience and perseverance amidst the many challenges that stand on the path to greatness.
