And as organizers had announced earlier, the red carpet was rolled out for celebrities at 8PM.
Minutes after the red carpet, power supply at the venue shut down and took engineers close to two hours to fix.
Shatta Wale hearing this went on a Facebook live stream from New York to tease the organizers who had sidelined the him.
Minutes into the stream, Shatta screams;
“I hear light off happened in Ghana, why? am I a technical director? I dey America dey chill. Make no body come blame me. Make no body come worry me.”
