Thursdays on the Mid-Morning Radio show with Trigmatic always promises as a trip down memory lane with our legends from several fronts from the entertainment industry.
Today’s was with the legendary Bessa Simons. The producer/organist and hilife crooner who has performed all over the world with Osibisa upon naming his current favourite songs made mentions of Kuame Eugene and Wortah.
Uncle Bessa expressed his love for the young artist’s vibe and says he reminds him of Pat Thomas in his prime, how untouchable he was back then. That is exactly how he feels anytime he here’s Kuame Eugene’s “Angela”.
Bessa Simons on wrapping up his interview advised the younger generation to do more live performances and also to work hard in understanding the music industry and to always stay learning so as to not sound stale on any record.
Bessa Simons has produced several timeless songs like Papa Yanksons “Tsena Me Kyen” and “Jealousy Mama”, also worked with Tagoe Sisters, Pat Thomas, Osibisa and many others.
He is releasing a single before Christmas, titled “I Love You”.
