Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investments Promotion Centre (GIPC),Mr. Yofi Grant has advised Ghanaian youth to strive to be better than who they are now and aim for a brighter future.
Speaking to YFM’s Rev. Erskine on the Y Leaderboard Series, he shared that as someone who had a “hard past” in his school days at Achimota Senior High School, he is very grateful that he went through such training to aim higher in life.
“We have gone through the mill. We have learnt things the hard way and it made us better and we appreciated things in life. It is not the things I do but the mere fact that I am alive and there is hope and future that I should look forward to. And knowing very well that there is hard past is just instructive and encouraging to me.
“Young person, don’t be satisfied with where you are but always believe there is brighter and better future if you are going forward”, he said.
Mr. Yofi Grant furthered that with the passion to move higher in life, he has been to places that he never thought he could get to. “I have ended up in places in life where I never thought I could be.The last time, I was trying to count the number of presidents I have met in life and they are close to ten (10). So apart from living life to the max, I think God loves me more than anybody else”, he added.
Yofi Grant is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre appointed by H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in February 2017. Mr. Grant is also a renowned Ghanaian investment banker with over 30 years of extensive work experience in banking and finance.
