Executive Director of Kosmos Innovation Centre, Benjamin Gyan-Kesse, has disclosed some values he lives by as a father and businessman.
According to him, finding the balance between home and business is not as easy as it seems but it still has to be done.
Speaking to Rev. Erskine on Y107.9FM’s YLeaderboard Series, he said, “Especially as you have to be on the road mostly, as I didn’t envision for myself, I still find time for my family. So you just need to find the balance”.
He added that although it sometimes get tiring one always has to show up, be there and perform their duties.
“Life is all about balance. There are times you need to learn from your mistakes. If it didn’t work well, don’t get discouraged rather work with the feedback you got and always try to do better than yesterday,” he said.
He advised young people to be courageous and humble if they want to identify their priorities and act on them.
“Learn to always ask questions. Unfortunately for me I didn’t ask questions and I didn’t even ask for help although people were willing to help,” he added.
Benjamin believes that people are mostly willing to help but don’t because those who need the help don’t ask. Hence, “I encourage people to always ask for help when they need it.”
