‘Y3wo Krom’ hitmaker has revealed in a radio interview that he made some good money after Apple played hit smash hit single at their conference last June.
“After they played the record at the conference, my team and our lawyer contacted Apple and we got between $20,000 to $50,000. We did it in a cool way, if we went hard we could have made more.” He told Pluzz.
During their presentation at the 2016 World Wide Developer’s Conference, Apple unveiled sweeping changes to Apple Music and as well as the Messages application.
At the close of the presentation – as seen in the video above – Apple looked to West Africa to soundtrack the exciting changes, playing a snippet from Ghanaian artist Atom’s 2015 hit Y3wo Krom.
