Renowned creative, Ian ‘Priceless’ Otchere has recently been appointed as the Content Acquisition Manager at ByteTunes, a prominent Ghanaian music investment company, in a deliberate attempt to completely transform the African music investment scene.
The announcement came as ByteTunes continues its mission to enhance the continent’s music market through strategic capital investment and expertise support.
ByteTunes, established by a collaboration of African and global partners, operates a fund that focuses on capital investment, catalogue acquisition, and the establishment of sustainable music institutions.
According to Music in Africa, the company aims to create an advanced ecosystem that is not only strong enough to compete globally but also dynamic enough to introduce Ghanaian culture and music to previously untapped markets.
Ian ‘Priceless’ Otchere, a renowned professional in the Ghanaian creative arts and broadcasting industries, brings a wealth of experience to ByteTunes. As a creative consultant and strategist, Otchere has dedicated his career to supporting artists and addressing the challenges they face, particularly limited access to funds in Ghana and across Africa.
“Working with artists all these years, I’m well aware of the challenges they face due to limited access to funds, especially in Ghana and across Africa,” Otchere expressed.
“I’m excited to be part of the mergers and acquisition team at ByteTunes Music Entertainment, and I look forward to engaging artists as they navigate these challenges in the pursuit of successful careers.”
Otchere, a music educator and founder of Priceless Music Consultancy, provides educational, advisory, and strategic services to artists and their management teams. His extensive involvement in the industry has earned him a place in Forbes’ community of Black professionals, leaders, and creators, ForbesBLK.
