Donae’o touches down ahead of YFM’s Donae’o Welcome Party

YFM, the most innovative and number one urban entertainment radio station in Ghana, is masterminding a premium welcome party for Ghanaian-British singer and rapper, Ian Greenidge, better known by his stage name Donae’o, as he visits his homeland.
The Donae’o Welcome Party and Industry Mixer is an exclusive, party being put together by YFM, in partnership with House Life to officially welcome the music legend and make his stay in the country an awfully exciting story.
Speaking about the never-before-organized party, this is what YFM’s Programmes Manager, Eddy Blay had to say:
‘’The Donae’o Welcome Party and Industry Mixer will be coming off tomorrow, the 6th of March live at 20/20, that is Kwarleyz Rooftop inside Airport Residential Area at 8pm sharp. This is specially organized by YFM in partnership with House Life and exclusive to people with invitation only’’.
‘’This is a one of a kind party; first of its kind and trust me, it is going to be the bomb! The whole team is putting in a lot of work so we can shut down Kwarleyz rooftop tomorrow. Donae’o is our brother and he’s been away for so long so now that he’s coming down, we just wanna give him a treat to remember. We need him to always feel like coming back and feel welcome anytime’’.
Donae’o has just arrived in Ghana ahead of his swank welcome party and he will be having exclusive interviews on YFM, as well as embark on a tour across the country.
He is well-known in Ghana for his 2009 hit song ‘Party Hard’ as well as other features with big acts across the world. That same year 2009, he was featured by Giggs on his song ‘Lock Doh’ which became Giggs’ highest charting single.
Recently, Donae’o got featured on Sarkodie’s Party and Bullsh*t, following his feature of Sarkodie and Patoranking on the remix of his 2019 hit song ‘Chalice’.
