Ghanaian musician and performer, Black Sherif, has described fear as the element that makes a man.
Sharing insights into the influencing factor of his hit song ‘Soja’, the musician shared, “Soja was basically influenced by my fears and my desire to make sense. I love to be real as there are a lot of kids watching and I want to be 100 percent. Fear is what makes a man.”
In an interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM’s ‘Ryse N Shyne’ show, Blacko said, “So if you are a man, fear makes you a man so if you don’t have any fear, then you will not live to see another day.”
The musician described each and every person on earth as soldiers fighting different battles whether they decide to talk about it or not. “So Soja is like a wakeup call to everyone to continue being a good fighter in their respective battles.”
Having released his novel album uniquely titled ‘The Villain I Never Was’, the artiste pronounced the album as his autobiography. “Life has been tough on me and I have seen a lot. Whatever you listen to on my album, I have seen it all. The album is my autobiography and it is all me from the first to the last song.”
