Campus Director of Webster University, Christa Elsie Sanders, said exchange program is an opportunity for students to learn something outside their comfort zone.
“It is also an opportunity for students to dialogue and exchange ideas with students from different places,” she added.
She described the study abroad program as an investment for both students and the host nation, she noted “There are a number of exchange programs in Ghana and these students come as an investment to Ghana. They meet and exchange ideas with the faculty who are experts in their fields.
According to her, knowing these exchange programs birth leaders and alumni who make waves proves the great impact of the program and urged students to enroll at Webster to experience the change for themselves.
“The program sees to the emergence of leaders and alumni who come back to work in the continent and make a difference. To know that the program inspired them to do what they’re doing today is fulfilling and has a great impact on the host nation and the country they’re coming from,” she said in an interview on Y107.9FM’s YleaderBoard Series hosted by Rev Erskine on the Myd Morning Radio Show.
Madam Christa described the exchange program at Webster as a critical part of what they do as a world class educational institution.
Webster Ghana offers the opportunity to study abroad throughout its network of campuses, after one year of study at the Ghana campus.
Start in Ghana, and head out to any of their other campuses in the United States; Geneva, Switzerland; Leiden, Netherlands; Vienna, Austria; Athens, Greece; and Tashkent, Uzbekistan; as well as Shanghai and Chengdu joint MBA programs in China. Their study abroad programs run for an academic year, full semester, 8-week term, or summer term.
