A presidential aspirant in the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) national elections, Gayheart Mensah has sent out a word to everyone who feels less appreciated at their workplace.
He has advised that if you feel less appreciated at your workplace, tread carefully while you scout for other jobs.
He shared this advice during an interview with host Rev. Erskine on the Y Leaderboard Series.
“Just be careful there. We all want to feel appreciated. If you don’t feel appreciated; you don’t feel wanted then it is the time for you to look for another job. Until you get another job, unless you know where the next meal is going to come from, you don’t move. So, if you work and you feel there is something wrong with where you work, start scouting, get another job and move”.
Apart from lecturing in Advanced Journalism and Development Journalism at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Gayheart Mensah has worked with the “Ghanaian Times”, “Graphic Showbiz”, “Daily Graphic” and was the Acting Editor of the “Evening News” about 21 years ago.
Gayheart also worked as Vodafone Ghana’s External Affairs and Legal Director.
He is currently an aspiring candidate for the presidency of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
