Nigerian Afropop singer Tomi Thomas, has emphasized that Ghana is much more polished and reputable than his home country Nigeria.
Being his second time in the country, he stated that he was impressed with how the country is still as serene and as neat as he met it the first time he visited.
Talking to Jonny Stone on the Y Campus Express Show on Y107.9 FM about the ongoing Green Ghana and recycling project in the country he said, “I’m very impressed by this action and for me, I’ve noticed people don’t litter as much here as compared to my hometown; you guys are very clean”.
He furthered that the Green Ghana project is a good initiative and he is in full support of it.
“The Green is good for the ecosystem and the environment so it’s very good and for me, I try not to waste water and also not to litter when I can and I also respect people who go out of their way to keep their environments clean,” he said.
He advised Ghanaians to keep up the good work and to ensure continuous cleanliness in the country.
