Ghanaian female rapper, Mandy Tracy Kachi Addo-Noble has unveiled the mystery behind her stage name Haeven.
The emerging hip hop musician in an interview on Y107.9FM’s Ryse N’ Shyne with host Brown Berry, touched on the deep grind of being a female rapper in the Ghana music industry, with her name serving as a reminder of how far she has come in the industry.
She described rap as a major part of her life which she can never fail at doing.
The young creative indicated that music-particularly rap, was a final resort and more of a haven amid a series of chaotic events that occurred within a period of her life, hence the name Haeven. “I like to describe Haeven as manifestation of a time that I was going through hell; because everything that could possibly go wrong then, went wrong. And I was at the point where I had no other choice, but to do music because that was the only thing I could do.” she explained.
From a hobby to a budding career, Haeven with records like ‘Peaceful Chaos’ and ‘Disrespect’ highlights her aspirations to make a difference as a female rapper in the music industry.
