Streaming giants Spotify has released analytic overview of artistes performance on the music streaming platform for the year 2018.
Sarkodie who dropped his ‘Highest’ album last year, garnered 9 million streams on Spotify with 1 million fans listening to his music on the platform from 65 different countries in the world.
The fans spent 602 hours listening to his music on the platform. With the reports we’ve seen so far from Ghanaian musicians, Sarkodie seems to be the most streamed Ghanaian artiste on the platform.
Earlier Uncle Ebo Taylor released his and he had 8 Million streams on Spotify. At the time of this post, Sarkodie seems to have the highest number with 9 million streams on the music platform.

Shatta Wale released his album this year and a couple of good songs. His songs on the platform were stream 6 million times and had 582,000 fans from 65 countries around the world who listened to his music.
These fans spent 333k hours listening to his music.
In the case of Stonebwoy he had 4 million streams on the platform, 327,000 fans listening to his music on the platform from 65 different countries. And the streaming time was 246,000 hours.
