Bullet yesterday announced that some artistes were asking for a fee before they jump on Ebony’s tribute concert stage to honor the late singer. Many assumed it was multiple hit factory, Shatta Wale because he was not featured on the show’s flyer which featured heavyweights like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and more.
Zylofon Media‘s PRO, Sammy Flex this morning denied the claim that the ‘Dancehall King’ hitmaker demanded cash from Ruff Town Records. According to Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s morning show, it is true that Shatta Wale will not be performing at the March 23 concert but not because organisers are not paying him.
Detailing why the Shatta Movement boss will be missing on the night of the event said Shatta Wale will be out of town by then. He later communicated on the Friday morning show that the controversial artiste was out of town this morning.
Bullet, manager of Ebony also confirmed on the show that the artiste who demanded cash before performing at the tribute concert is not Shatta Wale.
