Theresa Ayoade, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Charterhouse Productions, has shared in her opinion, why it seems so difficult for people to observe social distancing.
According to her, humans are social animals and we do not function well when we are alone or when we are socially distant.
“People can wear the masks but the social distancing is the most difficult part, I think, because your natural tendency when you’re even talking to someone is to stand close so even standing afar is quite a challenge”, said the CEO.
She made this assertion during a zoom interview with host, Rev. Erskine on the Y-Leaderboard Series, a youth empowerment program segmented on the Myd-Morning Show which airs on Y107.9fm.
Theresa confessed that it is quite a challenge for a lot of people, however, it is also up to us to make this pandemic vanish quickly.
“If we can all just follow the guidelines of wearing a mask, social distancing, washing your hands and sanitizing, I believe we will really get rid of this quickly”, Theresa furthered.
She also called on the media to macho their support to the government in educating the mass to do the right thing so that we can all help in the fight against Covid-19.
