Multi-talented Ghanaian artiste, Kirani Ayat has said that his intro, “Aisha’s Son” on his debut album dubbed, ‘Aisha’s Sun’ is a re-introduction project of himself.
In an interview with Akosua Hanson on Y107.9 FM’s YLounge, he reiterated the storylines are burnt within his strong personality as a leader.
“The opening line translates in Hausa as ‘Aisha’s Son’ is the leader. That is the first track which is the intro, Aisha’s Son telling you who I am. So that’s me literally introducing myself and who I am. It starts as Aisha’s Son is the leader and he does what he wants and no one can tell you otherwise. He literally doesn’t need your applauds, has no fears, speaks the truth and speaks for his people,” he shared.
Ayat furthered, “So take your applause, call him arrogant if you may but he is who he is and knows who he is. He is definitely going higher. That’s what it’s all about my intro, kind of allow me to re-introduce myself type of joint.”
