Ghanaian YouTuber and digital creator, Kwadwo Sheldon has debunked all claims that assert that he makes money off music promotion videos made on his YouTube show.
The content creator made these claims after engaging in what was initially thought to be harmless banter with Ghana’s heavyweight rapper Yaa Pono over reacting to his recently released song titled “Yard” on his YouTube channel segment without seeking permission from the rapper or his management to agree on terms of any profit made from the video.
This email was sent to me by your distributors through youtube. Please let’s all respect ourselves.. also I will gladly stop reacting to your songs if that’s what you want! No need to drag this! Thank you @ponobiom pic.twitter.com/6q6UICBOd5

Pono engaged Sheldon on Twitter as he inquired about reasons for why he (Sheldon) made that decision without his consent. Sheldon, on the other hand, made reference to his chats with the rapper, indicating that the rapper sent his song to Sheldon to promote for him.
On the left is the original song.. on the right is my reaction! You should be thanking me.. also the money from this video goes to your distributors! Not me. Mo Kasa by heart! Go and sit down pic.twitter.com/na8N9KTvug

Sheldon replied to the comments and reactions that were gained from the online brawl and said, “That’s the problem! They don’t understand how it works, so they and their fans just run with that narrative!! Meanwhile, Kobo sef, I no dey get,” he tweeted in response to a comment asking Sheldon if he makes money from the song’s reaction.
